Jeannie specializes in women’s health, perimenopause, fertility, and integrative medicine. She combines acupuncture, herbal medicine, supplements, and nutrition to treat conditions that often fall between the cracks of conventional care — hormonal imbalances, digestive dysfunction, autoimmune flares, and the complex overlaps between them.
Her approach is thorough. She takes the time to understand what’s actually going on, connects the dots between symptoms that other providers treat separately, and builds a treatment plan that addresses root causes. She works in partnership with her patients and coordinates with their physicians and specialists.
Women’s Wellness
Jeannie’s focus on women’s health started early — she grew up hearing her mother’s stories of difficulty conceiving, and from her first years of graduate study she pursued expertise in reproductive health and gynecology. She trained with the renowned midwife and acupuncturist Raven Lang and completed clinical rotations at the gynecology department of Chengdu University Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her own experience recovering from Hashimoto’s and eosinophilic esophagitis deepened her understanding of the digestive-immune connection and drives her conviction that healing is possible even when conventional medicine says otherwise.

Digestive & Autoimmune Support
Jeannie’s empathetic approach to helping patients with digestive and autoimmune issues is informed by her own journey to wellness. For more than a decade, she stems from her personal struggle with Hashimoto’s disease and eosinophilic esophagitis. Refusing to accept a dire prognosis (she was literally told her condition “would only get worse”), she successfully overcame her health challenges by combining nutrition, supplements, herbs, meditation, acupuncture, and bodywork.
Jeannie is dedicated to helping her patients understand that healing is possible and to guiding them on their path to wellness.

Jeannie has been in practice since 2004, pursuing expertise in integrative reproductive health and gynecology from the beginning of her graduate studies, including studies with renowned midwife and acupuncturist Raven Lang and a two-year Graduate Mentorship Program for advanced Chinese medicine studies with senior clinician Sharon Weizenbaum. Jeannie is a certified practitioner of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFMCP), bringing a systems-based approach to chronic and complex conditions. Functional medicine looks at the interconnected web of hormones, digestion, inflammation, and immune function — and treats them together rather than in isolation.
