Pain Care Experts

We help people get out of acute and chronic pain.

We work with people recovering from injuries, people who need pre- and post-surgical support, and people suffering from chronic pain – commonly in the back, neck and shoulders, joints and muscles. We also treat people suffering from persistent tension headaches, muscle pain, and myofascial pain syndromes.

What all our patients have in common is that they are struggling with pain that is interfering with their ability to work, sleep or participate in the activities they love. They might come to us with acute spasms and strains or stubborn aches and pains that have persisted for months or years without resolution.

We understand and work with the many potential sources of pain (muscles, connective tissue, nerves, scar tissue, etc.) and employ a collaborative approach tailored to your unique situation to get you back feeling yourself again.

Neck pain

Neck pain is one of the most common and persistent of all medical conditions. It’s estimated that 30% of adults in the US suffer from some form of neck pain every year, and 50% of adults develop chronic or intermittent pain. Whether you woke up this morning with sharp pain when you turn your neck, or it’s been hurting for a few weeks or for many years, whether it’s from a long airplane ride, a sports injury, or a chronic condition, we can help.

Low back pain

Debilitating low back pain is another common condition for which dry needling is often effective. We are adept at dry needling for low back pain while addressing the many factors that can influence the condition, including posture, tight muscles, spine and disc pathologies, and lifestyle factors, however acute or chronic.

Hip pain

Hip pain is a notoriously persistent and difficult to treat condition that has many possible presentations and causes, including muscle injury and weakness, tendonitis, and arthritis. Dry needling is an extremely effective modality that can access triggers deep in the hip and promote the resolution of inflammation.

Shoulder pain

The shoulder is the most complex joint in the body, prone to injuries from instability, weakness, and repetitive stress. Whether you’re a baseball player, got hurt doing strength training or took a hard fall, we know the shoulder inside and out and we can help you get out of pain and back in the game.

Pain that changes and moves around

Muscle pain has a tendency to change, getting better and worse and changing location based on numerous interrelated factors including activity, sleep, stress, and so on. The body often compensates, which creates a snowball effect, where pain develops elsewhere. We work to address all the sources of pain.
