AcuGroup is well known among Bay Area sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, elite athletes and performers as the “go-to” pain specialists who can help with challenging cases.

Franco Garritano, Jonah Hershowitz and Chris O’Donnell are each pain and dry needling experts. Jeannie Bianchi is a women’s wellness and integrative health specialist who treats underlying issues that amplify pain and slow recovery (e.g. digestive health, autoimmune conditions, hormone imbalances). Everyone in our practice has been doing this work for 25+ years.  

We bring extensive experience in pain care modalities, including dry needling, acupuncture, and manual therapies. We employ a team approach that is based on evidence and pain science, which includes retraining nervous system response, changing habits that contribute to pain and reducing inflammation in the body. Integrative treatment plans may include nutrition, lifestyle change, and botanical therapies.

We collaborate with a strong network of other health care providers, including physicians, physical therapists and manual therapists when that’s what’s needed to help you heal.
