When Your Body Won't Cooperate

AcuGroup helps athletes, professionals, and active people resolve the muscle and tissue problems that limit how they move, train, and perform. We find what’s actually wrong — and fix it.

Performance Starts with Muscles

You’ve stretched, foam rolled, done the exercises, massage, taken time off from activities you love. They help, but they don’t quite get you there. Something’s restricted, compensated, or just not firing right.

We understand: we work with your muscle and connective tissues, and with the neuromuscular and brain patterns your body has built around the problem. We treat them directly — stimulating tissue repair, releasing taut fibers, and restoring the function your body has been working around.

You Don't Have to Be Injured to Need Help

You need your body to perform at its best to reach your goals and get back to your activities.

Sound familiar?
  • “I keep re-injuring the same area.”
  • “My range of motion isn’t what it used to be.”
  • “I recovered, but I’m not back to where I was.”
  • “I sit at a desk all day, and my body is paying for it.”
Then you’re in the right place.

How We Treat

We work with you like a coach with an athlete — building an active process of functional recovery, not a passive series of appointments. You’re part of the progress, and your provider knows your body and goals as they evolve.

Dry Needling & Acupuncture: We’ve spent 25 years mastering both and know exactly when to use each and how to combine them. (Learn more in the FAQs below.)

Laser Therapy (Photobiomodulation): Accelerate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and speed recovery.

Lifestyle Change & Collaborative Care: Guidance on the habits and behaviors that affect your condition, plus direct coordination with your coaches, trainers, and PTs.

Our Method

We connect the dots between your muscles, nervous system, pain science, and lifestyle, creating a roadmap with you to get you better. Discover the AcuGroup patient experience and the method behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm not an athlete — is this for me?
Yes. Our patients include a very wide range of activity levels, including a significant portion who are desk workers, not competitors. Sitting for long hours creates real structural problems — shortened hip flexors, inhibited glutes, overloaded neck and shoulder muscles — and those patterns accumulate the same way sports injuries do. If your body isn’t moving or performing the way it should, the work is the same regardless of what you do for a living.
Yes. Many of our patients come to us not because they’re hurt, but because something isn’t working the way it should. Restricted range of motion, chronic stiffness, and compensatory patterns all limit performance. We assess and treat those directly.
After your initial evaluation, your provider will outline a personalized plan. A typical course is 1–2 visits per week for 4–6 weeks. Most patients feel improvement within 4 visits.
Initial visits are $325–$425 depending on your provider. Follow-up visits are $240–$400; we offer prepayment discounts for courses of care.We don’t accept or process insurance claims and we’re out-of-network, but we provide a superbill for potential reimbursement and accept HSA/FSA cards. If cost is a concern, the free 15-minute consultation is a good place to start — we can give you a realistic sense of what a course of care would involve before you commit.

Yes — schedule a complimentary 20-minute consultation with our clinical director. We’ll assess whether you’re a good candidate and answer any questions.

We work around your training and competition schedule. Some treatments may cause temporary soreness similar to a hard workout. We’ll time sessions to complement your training, not compete with it.

Both use the same hair-thin needles, but the approach is different. Dry needling works directly on dysfunctional muscle and tissue – the needles often go right into the tense, tight or painful areas like massage, releasing trigger points, restoring function, and repairing damage. while acupuncture is typically focused on more systemic effects, with needles all over the body. Our providers are experts in both and combine them based on what your body needs.
