Get to the Sources of Your Pain

Whether your pain is new or you’ve been managing it for years, we know how to find what’s causing it and help you get back to what you love.

Why Pain Persists

Muscle and soft tissue dysfunction is involved in the majority of chronic pain, but it’s often undertreated. It can mimic nerve pain, create referred pain far from its source, and persist long after an injury should have healed.

We find these patterns and resolve them through precise hands-on treatment, education, and self-care strategies that make results last. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve tried everything, an accurate assessment is the best first step.

Pain That Feels Like Something Else

Muscle pain doesn’t always feel like “muscle pain.” People often describe it as tightness, a deep ache that changes location, a disc problem, arthritis, or even burning. These sensations can lead to imaging, injections, or surgeries that don’t resolve the problem—because the sources of pain weren’t fully addressed.

Sound familiar?

  • “My back went out.”
  • “It’s a pinched nerve.”
  • “I slept wrong and can’t turn my head.”
  • “The MRI showed something, but treatment didn’t help.”

Then you’re in the right place.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions will I need?

After your initial evaluation, your provider will outline a personalized plan. A typical course is 1–2 visits per week for 4–6 weeks. Most patients see improvement within 4 visits.

No. Many of our patients come in with tightness, restricted movement, or muscles that just don’t work the way they used to — not pain exactly, but something that’s limiting them. We work directly with muscle and soft tissue, including those knots that won’t release, joints that won’t open up, or movements that feel restricted or uncoordinated. An evaluation will tell us whether we can help.

You’re not alone — many of our patients felt the same way before starting treatment. We start gently, communicate throughout the process, and go at your pace. Many needle-hesitant patients are surprised to find treatment comfortable. If you’re unsure, book a free 20-minute consultation and we’ll talk through exactly what to expect.

Initial visits are $325–$425 depending on your provider. Follow-up visits are $240–$400; we offer prepayment discounts for courses of care. We don’t accept or process insurance claims and we’re out-of-network, but we provide a superbill for potential reimbursement and accept HSA/FSA cards. If cost is a concern, the free 15-minute consultation is a good place to start — we can give you a realistic sense of what a course of care would involve before you commit.
Yes — schedule a complimentary 20-minute consultation with our clinical director. We’ll assess whether you’re a good candidate and answer any questions.

There are significant similarities and differences between the two techniques. They employ the same type of needle, but the effects and sensations are different. Dry needling is a specialized discipline focused on releasing and repairing muscles directly, directly targeting the tense, tight or painful areas like massage. Acupuncture is typically focused on more systemic effects, using locations throughout the body. Find out more here: https://acugrouphealth.com/treatments/dry-needling-experts/
